Nu är det sommar.

Några veckor gammalt kort. Jag var på väg ut genom dörren för att sola för första gången i år! Det var så fint ljus just här, så jag försökte fånga effekten på bild. :)

Senior Prom Night

This past Saturday was the night of our senior prom. Now, my mental picture of senior prom has always been very influenced by various American high school movies circling around the theme. There's a prom checklist to be filled in if you want a good outro song when the aftertitles start rolling. "Have more than three 'Yes'? Go to 'The End' and win the game."

• Beautiful spring weather: Yes. 
• Pretty dress: Yes.
• Handsome prom date (who knew how to dance): Yes.
• The classical walk-down-the-stair-accompanied-by-camera-flashes: Yes.
• Wonderful friends helping out with hair-styling and make up: Yes, which saved what little sanity I have.
• Waltzing without hurting people: Yes, hopefully.
• Good food and many toasts: Yes.
• Good music and skilled DJ: Yes and no.
• Live band: Sadly, no.
• Drunk and happy teenagers: Yes, very.

I won the game. And the night was fabulously fun. :)

BREAKFASTING WITH PONIES

Ella and I went - early, early in the morning - to have our breakfast with the horses at her stable. This great big dog hardly ever left my side, and he did not seem to know his own size - when I sat down to take a picture of another dog, his intention was to sit down beside me, but he ended up knocking me over...

After the horses had had their meal, we picked up Ella's horse Flipa for some training.

Gods and Heroes

Inari is a Japanese fox god, disguised as a woman. Elin came dressed as this woman-but-fox-but-male-god to my god-themed birthday party, and I am stunned by her make up skills. Karro and Ellen are godesses. I failed terribly at taking pictures of the occasion.

Let the Eyes Do the Talking

Black and white photographs tend to bring out more personality, more emotions - in my opinion. With less colours to lay one's focus on, details, lines and forms in the picture start popping out. I'm a sucker for eyes and hands when it comes to photo objects and Lukas' eyes are what I like most about this piece.

Yes, I know about the focus. Let's just say it was meant that way. Can't help liking the picture either way.

Dinner

Just look at the patterns in the water! Don't know how this photo turned out so brilliant. The dinner was good too. <3

Acrobatics

While taking a walk round Linköping, we came to an outdoor stage. And what better to do with an outdoor stage than climbing it? Totally loving all of these pictures.
